The first cohort of students has graduated from the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Academic Practice (GradCertHEd) programme offered by THE-ICE Business Alliance Partner, Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI). The students, who commenced in July 2018, have completed their course and were awarded their Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Academic Practice at the graduation ceremony held in Sydney in November 2019.
During the ceremony, student representative Dr Jian Jiang praised HELI for the high quality of the course content, the relevance and application of the course to her workplace, and the outstanding support that all students received from the HELI team throughout their studies. Most of all, she thanked her fellow students for new friendships formed and the ongoing networking opportunities that evolved during the course, and that have been maintained following course completion. HELI is extremely proud of their first graduates and of the positive impact HELI has had at their institutions.
