Newly elected Chair and Directors of THE-ICE

Newly elected Directors of THE-ICE Board (L-R) Mr Andrew Dolphin, Mr Risto Karmavuo, Mr Simon David Lloyd and Dr Ivan Ninov.

At the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of THE-ICE, which took place on 1-Nov-2023 during the proceedings of THE-ICE 16th International Panel of Experts (IPoE) Forum 2023, the following new Directors were elected to THE-ICE Board: 

  • Mr Andrew Dolphin, Manager Higher Education, William Angliss Institute, Australia.
  • Mr Risto Karmavuo, Degree Director, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland.
  • Mr Simon David Lloyd, Executive Dean – Hospitality Management, Dusit Thani College, Thailand.
  • Dr Ivan Ninov, Executive Dean and Professor, Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) in partnership with the University of Derby, Qatar.

Associate Professor Simon Pawson and Professor Peter Ryan were also re-elected to the Board of Directors. 

THE-ICE thanks the long-term Chair, Dr Paul Whitelaw and long-term Director, Professor Dr Oswin Maurer, for their significant contributions to THE-ICE Board of Directors upon their retirement at THE-ICE AGM 2023.

We are delighted to announce that Ms Gienke Osinga has been elected as Chair of THE-ICE Board, and Associate Professor Simon Pawson has been elected as Deputy Chair.
