As always, we were impressed by the high calibre of research and ideas being produced, as well as the strong collaboration between THE-ICE member institutions and their networks.

This year also saw a record number of proposals, reflecting the continued strength and engagement of THE-ICE global network.

THE-ICE Research Grant Scheme (RGS), introduced in 2019, supports and promotes research by THE-ICE member institutions, contributing to THE-ICE’s objective of enhancing the quality of higher education in tourism, hospitality, events and culinary arts (TH&E).

The outcomes of the selected RGS 2026 research projects will be presented at THE-ICE International Panel of Experts (IPoE) Forum 2026, to be proudly hosted by César Ritz Colleges Switzerland in Brig from 27–29 September. The Forum theme is Redefining Leadership: Innovating for Impact in Global Tourism and Hospitality Education.
