Real World Educators
Studying at a college alone won’t teach you all you need to know about the hospitality industry; and you can’t effectively teach about the industry unless you are working in it. With a rapidly-changing marketplace you need to be immersed in every part of it to keep skills fresh and up-to-the minute, which is why our lecturers are employed in senior roles in the hospitality industry – it gives them solid experience and up-to-date, current knowledge. Through our connections with the hospitality, tourism, hotel, events and culinary worlds, our courses have been designed by industry and are taught by industry.
Industry experience is incredibly important for fresh graduates, and no one gets experience by sitting in a classroom all day! We know how important have the practical knowledge and skills is, which is why the Industry placement Programme is a compulsory part of every course that we offer at William Blue.
Our Career Management Team helps students to secure paid part-time work and industry training while they study, and has a vast range of connections, both domestic and internationally, to help place William Blue students. We will help you with personal presentation skills, resume and interview preparation, and even arrange job interviews with leading employers. We don’t just train you to do the job; we train you to get the job.
