Fellow of THE-ICE nominations are now open!

On behalf of THE-ICE Chair, we are delighted to announce that nominations for Fellow of THE-ICE are now open. This distinguished status is awarded to individuals in recognition of their significant contribution in any one of the following three categories: 

  • Academics: for their contributions to tourism, hospitality, events and culinary arts (TH&E) education, training or research.
  • Industry professionals: for their contributions to the tourism, hospitality, events and culinary arts (TH&E) industry.
  • Individuals: for their outstanding support of THE-ICE’s commitment in the international accreditation, benchmarking and promotion of excellence in TH&E training, education and/or research.

Representatives of accredited member institutions of THE-ICE are cordially invited to nominate an outstanding individual whose significant contribution in any one of the above categories may be considered deserving of the prestigious award.

All nominations will be presented to the THE-ICE Board of Directors for consideration and decision. Successful nominees for the 2021 Fellow of THE-ICE will be awarded during the 14th THE-ICE IPoE Forum, to be proudly hosted from 25th – 29th October 2021 by University of Derby (or virtually if travel restrictions are still in place).

Please refer to the Frame of Reference document for full details of the nomination and selection process. Please note that nominations may only be made by an appointed delegate of a currently accredited THE-ICE member institution.
